The update comes a day after the United States saw one record number New cases of coronavirus in a single day with 37,077 were reported on Thursday, according to Johns Hopkins University.
The whole of Thursday closed the previous high on April 24, when 36,291 new cases of corona were reported across the country.
At least 32 states are seeing an increase in Covid-19 cases, while California, Oklahoma and Texas are seeing new highs.
The briefing will not take place at the White House, but at the Ministry of Health and Human Services, according to a timetable issued by the White House.
Since Pence took over at the helm of Corona on February 27, there have been a total of 47 updates to the White House, led by President Trump and some of the vice-presidents.
In recent days, Trump has tried to declare a pandemic “beyond” despite the growing numbers, and vice versa focused the energy of his administration on opening up the economy.
According to the White House, Trump is no longer traveling to New Jersey’s Bendminster this weekend.
