When the gloves come off, the mask continues.
Joe Biden wrote an invoice showing President Trump removing it face mask Arriving at the White House late Monday after his treatment for COVID-19, he posted a side-by-side video of himself wearing a superhero mask.
The tweet reads, “Wear a mask.”
Biden appeared to be trying to capitalize on the media’s strong criticism of Trump following his diagnosis of the coronavirus. Critics of Trump say the president was reckless with his diagnosis, which ranges from short “Visit” to supporters outside Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Sunday and his early discharge.
The White House insisted that Trump followed the guidance of his medical staff. Navy Cmdr Sean Conley, Trump’s personal physician, said the president met or exceeded hospital discharge standards. Conley said earlier Monday that the president remains contagious and will not be completely “out of the woods” for another week.
Biden described the mask as a form of patriotism last weekend, criticizing the administration for not doing more to promote the practice during the pandemic.
Trump was criticized for seemingly underestimating the virus when he said, “Do not be afraid.”
“It simply came to our notice then. “We have the best medical equipment, we have the best medicine,” he said.
Biden told NBC City Hall on Monday night that he was happy Trump was recovering well, “but we have to worry – 210,000 people have died. I hope no one goes away with the message that this is not a problem.”
