Apple has set the date for its last debut on the iPhone. The new device is rumored to be called the iPhone 12, is expected to include 5G ultra-fast wireless connectivity and a new iPad-inspired design and will be was presented on October 13 at 10 a.m. PT. Like Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference in September Apple Watch and iPad announcements, the event for iPhone will take place entirely online. The event will be broadcast on the Apple website.

The decline in Apple products this year is expected to reach a wave of upgrade markets, analysts say, with fans seeing the new rumors about the iPhone 5G features and boxier look, similar to that of the iPad Pro. A “shocking” 53% of respondents plan to buy this year’s iPhone, according to a survey electronics reseller Decluttr. Flashier rivals – like Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 2 5G with foldable screen or Microsoft Surface Duo, with two screens combined – offer new spins in the standard smartphone and metal construction. But most consumers are likely to be drawn to what they know.

And even if the new iPhone only offers a few new bells and whistles beyond a different exterior design, it will catch the lion’s eye.

The Apple invitation, which often has some indications, this time has an Apple logo in circles with different shades of blue, orange and red. And there’s this pun: “Hi, Speed.”

This did not prevent people from speculating about what other mysteries could be hidden in the meaning of the invitation. Apple is also expected announce new over-ear headphones during the event, leading some people to wonder if the circles are about sound tones. (Apple has the competing headphones were removed from his store before the event).

Apple also included an augmented reality trick on its website, as it did for last month’s event, with circles calling for it to be turned into floating spheres revealing the date of October 13th.

The star of the Apple demo, however, is expected to be the new iPhone, replacing the $ 1199 iPhone 7, the $ 999 iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, which started at $ 1,099 when it was released in 2019. Prices are expected to remain largely the same, but Apple is expected to upgrade device capabilities such as better cameras, faster chips and the company’s newest software, iOS 14. There are also Apple rumors can offer an iPhone 12 Mini, probably as a reaction to some people who complain that smartphones are no longer pocket friendly.

When Apple jumps into the 5G market, it is expected to be a huge player right away. This year, Apple is likely to ship 50 million iPhone 5Gs, according to Strategy Analytics, which would make it the second-largest 5G supplier by 2020 – and that will be in less than three months of sales. By comparison, Samsung shipped more than 6.7 million Galaxy 5G smartphones last year, after the first 5G phones hit the market in May.

Next year, Apple is expected to be the largest supplier of 5G phones in the world, said Strategy Analytics

Apple, which is hosting its online event, is not the only thing that sets the iPhone announcement apart from previous years. The device also comes later in the year than usual, with analysts expecting either the end of October or the beginning of November to be released for the latest Apple headphones. That’s about a month after the release of standard iPhones, something Apple warned in July when it acknowledged new smartphones were coming. “a few weeks“later than normal.

Apple announcements will also overlap Amazon Prime Day re-scheduled shopping event, scheduled for October 13 and 14. Usually, the fully covered vacation took place in July, but this year it was pushed back due to the Koran virus pandemic.

Apple continued its annual event in September, however, using it to announce new iPads, a new Apple Watch and a new Apple One subscription service. The service combines Apple TV Plus $ 4.99 per month, Apple Music $ 9.99 per month, Apple News Plus $ 9.99 per month and Apple Arcade gaming efforts $ 4.99 per month.

Apple Mac-powered Macs: What to Expect

In addition to the iPhone news, the Apple event may be the first time the company will present its newest computer, with its support brands that the company calls Apple Silicon.

Apple has not shared many details about its newer brands, which will replace the Intel processors that Apple relied on for 14 years with processors similar to those that power iPhone, iPad and Apple TVs. Apple said it would continue to sell Intel-powered computers for now, but the company said improvements in performance, battery life and easier connections to the iPhone and iPad led to the change.

“Hardware and software are fundamental to what we do,” said Apple CEO Tim Cook, announcing the effort this summer. “It will take the Mac to the next level.”

However, people will probably be more interested in the iPhone, and with good reason. Analysts are increasingly saying that they expect this year’s upgrade, with the new design and 5G wireless technology, to lead to much higher demand.

“Taking a step back, we believe that the iPhone 12 represents the most important product line for Cook & Co. since the iPhone 6 in 2014 and will be another defining chapter in Apple’s growth history that looks forward to a softer consumer environment. “Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives said in a note to investors shortly after Apple’s announcement. Ives said he expects the release of the iPhone 12 to be a “once in a decade” event, with or without the coronavirus.
