Xavier Thomas had worked back but was forced to sit down last week after a funeral kept him out of COVID-19 testing.
No.1 Clemson announced that its player list is not expected to be available starting at 7:30 p.m. (ABC) with No. 7 Miami on Saturday.
Xavier thomas could make his season debut under the Death Valley spotlight, as he was not on the list for the first time this season. Thomas was expected to redshirt and play late in the season as he had to overcome COVID-19 and the neck that made him return to camp. With the NCAA waiver for the pandemic, Thomas can play any number of games and not miss an eligibility season now.
Still on the list is the competitive end Justin Foster, which was registered as a starter before the season and has not yet been made available for undisclosed reasons.
Clemson’s unavailable list does not provide reasons why players are out of the game, with some already listed for the season.
Complete list of players: OL Caleb Boateng, LB David Cott, S Peter Cott, WR Hampton Earl, DE Justin Foster, DT Darnell Jeffery, LB Matthew Malney, DT The hands of Orhorhoro, TE Lucas Price and WR Justin Ross.
