Apple launches first iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro pre-orders before release on Friday

The first pre-orders of iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro started to be sent to first buyers. As usual, this does not mean that you should expect your order to arrive on iPhone 12 earlier than the October 23 release date.

If you check the status of your order through the Apple website, you will probably see that the iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro is still “getting ready to ship”. However, if you go to the UPS website, you can track the progress of your order with a few simple steps.

To do this, sign up for UPS My choice platform or use “Monitoring with reference number “ feature. The reference number is probably the phone number mentioned in your Apple order or your order number without the last two digits. However, not all iPhones have been shipped to the UPS, so be sure to keep checking throughout the week.

As usual, Apple does not update the shipping status of new iPhone orders through its website until later in the week, when we approach the official release date. Finally, keep in mind that just because orders are already shipped does not mean you have to wait for the iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro to arrive early. Apple is working closely with UPS to ensure that shipments arrive on Friday, October 23 at the earliest, regardless of what the estimated date on the UPS indicates.

On the other hand, as we mentioned yesterday, the first iPhone 12 accessories have started to reach customers. This includes MagSafe cases as well as the MagSafe Charger itself. You can take a closer look at the new accessories at full coverage here.
