Amazon Echo Frames

Amazon glasses that allow you to talk to Alexa are now available for anyone to buy.
The new Echo Frames cost $ 249.99 and will ship on December 10th. Amazon started the frames at the annual material event last year as part of the “Day 1” product line, but was only available to consumers by invitation.
Amazon has introduced improvements to second-generation Echo Frames based on user feedback for invitations only.
Updates include up to 40% longer battery life, an auto-off feature to maximize battery life when glasses are not in use, a “VIP filter” that allows users to prioritize alerts from selected apps, and contacts, as well as an “Auto Volume” feature that automatically adjusts the volume of the device based on the ambient noise level of a user. Echo Frames are also available in three new colors: modern turtle, blue skyline and classic black.
The lenses are clean, but Amazon said customers can get prescription lenses at a LensCrafters store.
Users who purchased first-generation Echo Frames by invitation will be able to purchase the upgraded version for $ 70, Amazon said. An Amazon spokesman declined to say how many users purchased the Echo Frames as part of the invitation-only program.
While the Echo Frames are “graduating” in full release, Amazon said it is sinking another “Day 1 Edition” product, the Echo Loop ring. The Echo Loop, also released last year, was a titanium ring that allows users to talk to Alexa.
Customers who purchased the Echo Loop will continue to receive updates and support for the device, Amazon said.
